Why should I bench press?
Aside from the health benefits, both mental and physical, that you’ll get from any type of exercise? I’ll just put it simply: bench pressing will make your boobs look bigger and perkier.
That’s because this exercise develops the muscles which lie underneath your breast tissue. These are called the pectoralis major and the pectoralis minor. Develop these and your chest will look firmer, perkier, and larger.
How do I bench press?
The bench press can be done with either dumbbells or a barbell. Perform the exercise while lying on a weight bench. The most common form is to keep the bench flat, but you can use a bench on an incline to target the upper part of your chest more.
Choose a weight that is light for you when you’re just beginning. If you’re using a barbell, its weight will not be marked but the standard size that your gym is almost guaranteed to be using is 45 pounds.
Adding weights to each end of the barbell will increase the weight, and you should use collars to safely secure them. If you choose to add weight, make sure to put an equal amount on each side.
